Sony has released a special celebration theme for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
To celebrate the tenth anniversary of PS Plus, Sony gives away free PS4 theme for subscribers.
To download the new theme, just visit the PS Plus section of the PlayStation Store and select the theme to download.
“Give a personal touch to the home screen of your PlayStation 4 system with this special theme that celebrates the tenth anniversary of PlayStation Plus,” says Sony’s description.
“Themes can be downloaded to give your on-screen presentation a whole new look by changing the background, icons, and colors to match your favorite game or style.
“After downloading, you can select the theme you want to use through the Themes option in the PS4 System Settings menu.”
Sony is also giving away an additional PlayStation Plus game to subscribers as Erica joins NBA 2K20 and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
All three games will be available for download when PS Plus games are updated on July 7.
“NBA 2K has become much more than a basketball simulation,” reads the PlayStation blog description.
“With its immersive open-world neighborhood, NBA 2K20 is a platform for players and players to come together and create what’s next in basketball culture.”
“Take your skills to the next level, with an improved motion engine with distinctive styles, advanced shooting controls, a new dribble-size system, refined off-ball collisions, and a new defensive reading and reaction game.”
While NBA 2K20 was praised for the action on the court, fans and critics were not so happy with all the microtransactions and gameplay mechanics in the game.
Rise of the Tomb Raider, meanwhile, switches the action to Siberia, where Lara Croft discovers a lost city and an ancient mystery.
Sitting pretty with a metacritical score of 88%, the game boasts some of the best images on PS4.
It also features a handful of great puzzle tombs, as well as some great action pieces. There are too many shooting sections for my liking, but it’s still a very good game.
Then there is Erica, which is a cinematic game with live action footage and multiple endings.
The game can be controlled with both iOS and Android smartphones, making it one of the most exclusive experiences available on PS4.
