Princess Beatrix’s husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi has one last gift for royal wedding fans: a new photo of their surprise nuptials last Friday. Mozzi posted an Instagram tribute to his new wife, sharing several of the wedding photos the royal family released of the day. But the first photo, with Mozzi and Beatrice looking in the shade, is new.
He captioned the publication with EE Cummings’ poem, “I Carry Your Heart With Me.”
I carry your heart with me (I carry it inside
my heart) I am never without him (wherever I go, dear; and whatever it is that only I do is yours, my love) I do not fear fate (because you are my fate, my sweet) I do not want the world (because you are beautiful my world, my truth) and you are whatever a moon has always meant and what a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret that no one knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; it grows more than the soul can expect or the mind can hide) and this is the I wonder what it is that keeps the stars
I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)
Princess Beatriz does not have her own Instagram, but her sister, Princess Eugenia, yes, and yesterday she also shared a tribute to Beatriz.
I couldn’t be happier (get it) 🐝 …
What a joy and privilege it is to see you, my beautiful older sister, walk down the hall towards dear Edo. I am very proud of you and I am very excited to support you in the next chapter of your life. Let’s have a lot of fun together.
Happy wedding day for both of you xxxx
