Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s conversation with Oprah Winfrey was certainly unprecedented – but Prince William’s recent response was the same.
In the interview, Markle, 39, and Harry, 36, made mostly racist allegations against the royal family and organization, specifically claiming that there was “conversation and concern” about the skin color of their next unborn child.
Harry later clarified that Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip did not make such remarks, leaving many wondering whether Prince Charles or William of the throne had raised such “concerns”.
Shortly after the interview aired, Buckingham Palace issued a statement calling such allegations “relevant,” but William, 38, responded in person.
On Thursday, Shahi was confronted by reporters during a visit to a school in east London where he confirmed that the royal family was “not a very racist family” and noted that he had yet to talk to Harry, but planned to do so. .

Royal expert Katie Nicole took special note of Prince’s response and said William had answered the question so casually, as UK journalists often do not answer questions to the Royals during such engagements.

During the interview, Harry noted that there was a “space” between himself and William and hinted at a quarrel with the family as a whole. He added that he hopes to mend his broken relationship over time.
