Prince William and Prince Harry joined forces in a rare statement regarding a statue honoring their mother, Princess Diana.
Statue, in his statement, said that, first in February 2017, “the twentieth anniversary of his death was celebrated and earned recognition of his positive influence in the UK and around the world.”
William, 38, and Harry, 35, announced the new date in a statement in which the statue would appear at Kensington Palace, where Diana once lived.

The statue will be erected in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace on July 1, 2021, to celebrate the Statue’s 60th birthday, said Duke Cam of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex.
They added: “The princes hope that this statue will help all who visit Kensington Palace to reflect on their mother’s life and her legacy.”
Prince William and Prince Harry released the statement on Friday, just days before their mother’s 23rd birthday.
