Pricing, specs, release date, images and everything else we know

Google’s launch night in is almost upon us, where we expect the news of the Pixel 5 to finally be published to the world. Following on the Smash-Pixel Pixel 4A, Google’s latest “flagship” already has a lot of critics. Whether you like the picture drawn from the last few months of leaks or not, our image of the next phone is virtually complete.

What will it look like?

Both real-world photos and renders of the upcoming Pixel 5 have been leaked, showing both black and green, from all angles. Note that the photos are for “Pixel 5s”, but based on what we know right now, the name corresponds to Pixel 5 (or, at least, a version of Pixel 5).

Images of the phone alongside the larger Pixel 4A 5G were also leaked:

A prototype in the Jungle, in which some people claimed it could be a Pixel 5, has two different tune rear designs, but it didn’t come out much.

The leak has been on the rise since Google officially unveiled the phone with AG. Before, le xleaks7 Published a handful of renders based on the leaked CAD (via Pigto) that showed what we considered rational design and confirmed by recent leaks.

Last industrial design can be immediately identified as Pixel if you saw Pixel 4, Pixel 4A, or leaked renders last year Pixel 4A XL Pixel 4 is 5G. The physical configuration for the rear camera looks mostly the same compared to the Pixel 4, although the flash has moved to the top, and the camera Themselves This can be further tweaked later.

Pixel 5 in its green colorway.

The Google Pixel 4 also seems to be dropping the fancy Face Unlock tech, returning to the try-and-true, much-loved, rear-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor. It also probably means a larger, almost bezel-less screen No soli motion gestures. We’ll find one of them Snezina’s modern hole-punch front-facing camera, however, the Pixel 4A. Unlike the Pixel 4, the Pixel 5 can handle full bezel symmetry, including the bottom. (It’s a small issue, but I live for this kind of small touch.)

The body details of the Pixel 5 are contradictory. Some sources claim it will work the game of al-aluminum design, while one person who had the experience at hand claimed it “felt” like plastic. Wireless charging usually has a metal problem (so glass comes on the phone these days), and based on recent disagreements, we’re not sure exactly what to expect. Personally, I guess it should have at least one (recycled, according to Leaks) aluminum frame, probably with the same thick texture coating as last year’s Pixel 4 – and so “plastic” confusion.

One phone or two?

Just one. Earlier this spring earlier, we thought the “Bramble” Pixel could be 5XL, since that Pixel 4 has been confirmed as 5G. (The pixel lineup is fantastic now.) Depending on the specs, you To be able to Consider the Pixel 4 5G being a larger and simultaneous cut-down version of the Pixel 5, as they share some interior. But Google puts the name in a different lineup, and the Pixel 5 stands alone.

There may be a vague exception to this: the phone Maybe Different versions come With and without MMwave support Based on FCC lists and that is Possible (But unlikely) that the “Pixel 5s” leak may correspond to a slightly different name for those two versions. However, these can only be carrier or regional forms. Either way, it won’t be as big and small as last year.

What are specs?

We’ve had a few waves of leaks when it comes to technical features, and this time, we know everything about the phone:

We know it will have a Snapdragon 765G chipset – just like the latest OnePlus Nord, Moto Edge and Vivo X50 Pro. While that doesn’t mean it might have a “flagship” level display like some major shipbuilders like the Snapdragon 865 packed phone, we’re not worried.

although Some rumors Indicates high refresh rate performance, latest leaks indicate all 90Hz 1080p performance.

Confirming the details previously dug into the software, the Pixel 5 will have reverse wireless charging to keep other devices on top. The primary camera configuration is the same as last year’s Pixel 4 (if not the same), but at the moment the secondary camera is wide-angle. Google seems to have abandoned its telephoto (which I personally prefer wide angle).

Based on the leak, Google will also seriously increase the battery life on its flagship phones – Finally. Last year the Pixel 4 and 4XL had an equal-to-poor battery, and this kind of bump would be an admirable change. As for the same storage, many sources now confirm that 128GB will probably be the “base” size as it was for the Pixel 4A.

The Pixel 5 also signals the return of a rear-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor, which allows us to …

What features will it lose against the Pixel 4?

Based on the leaks, we are confident that the Pixel 5 will “lose” some of the technical features compared to the Pixel 4, with the new edge-to-edge screen design, leaving no real space in the bezel. That means a more salty design, but it also means we lose both Solini Motion Sense gestures and face unlock – all those sensors need a little serious space, and so is the Pixel 4’s bezel forehead. Unless Google is somehow able to embed them at the bottom of the screen and simultaneously hide that fact so far (which is basically impossible), you can probably count them.

There’s just no room for all those sensors.

We’re also sure there won’t be an “XL” version of the Pixel 5. Although the Pixel 4A 5G may fit the bill as an XL-variant for some, and it has the same specs, Google has put it in a different category.

Will it have 5G?

Yes. Snapdragon 765G chipset supports 5G and FCC filings on phone show 5G frequencies. However, some FCC models do not have 5G MMwave Supports, and there may be a few different versions of phones with and without that technology (although they may be just carrier or regional type, we’re not sure).

In short, this means that the Pixel 5 should support 5G networks – if you care. We do not.

How much will it cost?

Under 700.

In an earlier survey, Google asked some people to compare Google 349 “Google Pixel Phones” with 699 “premium Google Pixel phones.” Then we see numbers ranging from 699 dollars to 629 dollars. At the moment, we personally think there is a low probability, but 9699 leaks continue to surface, so we can’t be sure. Either way, it should cost or less.

When will it come out?

Announcement on September 30.

Google has announced that its next hardware event will take place on September 30 (and you can expect our live coverage after that). At the event, the company promises that we will learn about the “new Pixel phones”, all Pixel 5 and Pixel 4 a 5G name-dropping, so expect the phone to be announced later.

However, Google had earlier posted a second date on its French blog, which says pre-orders will open on October 8. Historically, you’ve been able to pre-order Pixels on the date of the announcement, so either Google is changing how it handles pre-handers, not all fields meet at the same time, or the timeline has changed since it leaked. . . This has been a year of delay for Google, so the dates could easily have been changed. We haven’t even seen many retailer leaks for the Pixel 5, as our other products are expected to be announced on September 30th, though that’s not proof of anything.

Also note, Google is clear that the Pixel 5 doesn’t just come from India or Singapore.
