Later he was a coach in several teams and made his debut last season as a coach at Gil Vicente.

For the Câmara de Barcelos, Dito was “a great soccer athlete, a sport in which he traveled a path full of great moments, as evidenced by the 17 games of the main Portuguese soccer team”.
