NorthLast week, Euromillions presented the largest jackpot since the draw exists. It was 210 million euros highly desired for any European citizen, but it ended up in the pockets of a player in Switzerland. However, the story could be different …

We proceed to explain. A British couple, Rachel Kennedy, 19, and Liam McCrohan, 21, also played, or so they believed, matching all five numbers and two lucky stars. But what could be anyone’s dream … quickly turned into a nightmare.

The Sun tells us that both young men were “completely devastated” when they realized their numbers were sold out, but were left empty-handed. For five consecutive weeks, Rachel and Liam played with the key that came out – Numbers: 6, 12, 22, 29, 33 and Stars 6 and 11 – and the woman instructed that bets continue to be made online.

Only when he went to look at the application in his supposed millionaire week … he realized that the bet had not been registered due to lack of funds. “I was on top of the world when I thought I had won. But when I realized I hadn’t, Liam was angrier than I was,” Rachel told the publication.

Remember that, in this draw, a second prize came out of a bet registered in Portugal. They were 2,494,703.88 euros.
