“You cannot imagine my suffering”

Tony Carreira says that he is a “broken” man and that he keeps himself in the family to overcome the pain of having lost his “princess”.

According to close sources, quoted in this Saturday’s edition of Correio da Manhã, the singer said that “no one imagines my suffering,” revealing that he will not ask the court for anything. “I did not ask the court for anything, because my daughter will not come back. I just want to be left alone. They do not even imagine my suffering,” he told those same people.

He recalls that Tony Carreira was in the Algarve when he was informed that his daughter had had an accident and that he would have to go quickly to Santarém. When he began to travel in his car to the Hospital de Santarém, the death of his daughter had already been declared but the artist still did not know. The name of the victim was not released until 11:45 p.m., only after Tony Carreira was informed. Overcome with grief, the singer went into denial, as well as some other elements of his family.
