Yorkshire Ripper, who killed 13 women, died of Covid-19

Pether Sutcliffe, a serial killer who became known as the Yorkshire Ripper, died at the age of 74, a victim of COVID-19-19.

The criminal died at North Durham University Hospital, a few kilometers from the prison where he was serving a sentence for the death of 13 women.

The crimes were committed between 1970 and 1980, before his arrest in 1981. Peter Sutcliffe he will have attacked nine other women. He was serving a life sentence.

Two weeks ago, he was treated in this same hospital, after suffering a mild heart attack. The inmate returned to the prison where he was later diagnosed COVID-19-19, an illness that forced him to return to the hospital.
