The Government of Spain has decreed a state of emergency in Madrid and, therefore, the restrictions established by the Interterritorial Council of the Spanish Unified Health System are once again in force in the capital and in eight other cities it is established in the Response Plan Fast
The measures that will limit the Spanish, disseminated by the Spanish government, aim to “minimize the transmission of the virus, reducing its impact on health and society, institutions must be prepared to respond to any risk scenario for public health , assuming that coordination and joint decision-making are necessary in different scenarios, ”according to the Official Gazette of Spain.
“In this Response Plan, the commitment is to guarantee sufficient detection and control capacity to detect an increase in transmission in the population through the proper functioning of the early warning system,” said the government headed by Pedro Sanchéz, highlighting that “Among other measures, said Plan agreed to ensure sufficient human resource capacity in public health services.”
Regarding social contact, “the entry and exit of people between municipalities is prohibited, except for trips, duly justified for any of the following reasons: attendance at health centers, services and establishments, the elderly or children, renewal of official documentation, exams and any duly accredited activity of a similar nature ”, according to the Rapid Response Plan that also defines exceptions for“ labor, professional, business or legal ”activities.
The movement of residents within the municipalities “will be possible, respecting the individual and collective protection measures established by the competent health authorities” and concentrations in public places will be reduced to a maximum number of six people.
Funerals will be limited to 15 people, in open spaces and 10 in closed spaces, and shopping centers and sports complexes, open or closed, will have their capacity reduced by 50%. The playgrounds are not covered by the rules of the Spanish Government for Madrid.
The hotel industry did not escape restrictions either and as such the maximum capacity will be 50% on the terrace and indoors, with a limit of groups of six people. The closing hours of the establishments will be at 23:00, although after 22:00 they will no longer be able to admit customers, except in the case of home orders.
