A wedding in Azeitão, Setúbal, with 102 guests led to an outbreak of covid-19 with 27 infected, according to information from the Regional Health Administration of Lisbon and the Tagus Valley. Of these, there are three people hospitalized: two at the Nossa Senhora do Rosário hospital, in Barreiro, and another at the São Bernardo hospital, in Setúbal.
The wedding took place on September 19 and the owner of the space where the wedding took place assured TSF that all the rules were followed and that the space, with capacity for 300 people, received 102 guests.
Among those infected are the bride and the groom’s father, who according to the same source, felt the first symptoms four days after the marriage. The boyfriend’s result was negative.
