Or PS continues to lead voting intentions in legislative elections, with 37.6%, but it fell three percentage points compared to July, as did the PSD. The survey carried out by Aximage for TSF and JN, between September 12 and 15, also shows a fall of three percentage points in the party led by Rui Rio, registering 23.9% of voting intentions.

In fact, both the Social Democratic leader and the Socialist leader suffered drops in terms of positive performance reviews: António Costa, despite being the only party leader with more positive (51%) than negative (31%) evaluations, lost 13 percentage points this month compared to July, while Rui Rio lost 16.

Both Costa and Rio saw their negative ratings increase between July and September: 13 percentage points and four percentage points respectively. The leader of PAN, André Silva, registered an increase in his positive ratings – from 15% to 22% – and a decrease in negative ones – from 42% to 33% -, while Jerónimo de Sousa rose 14 percentage points from negative ratings. He is the leader of the party with the most negative ratings (59%), ahead of André Ventura, with 56%.

Regarding voting intentions for legislatures, in third place is the Left Bloc, with 8.3%, followed by Chega (6.8%) and CDU (5.6%). CDS is the party at the bottom of the list, with 1.1% voting intentions.
