V. Guimarães announced this Saturday the death of Rui Viana, a physiologist from the High Performance Department who is attached to the main team of the Victorian club.
“Rui Viana, 26, had joined the club this season, having quickly conquered the entire structure and the entire squad for his extraordinary work capacity, for his enormous dedication and for the excellent group spirit that he helped promote”, says the note by V. Guimarães, adding.
«It will be a deeply felt loss for Vitória SC, but, in this very difficult moment, it is with family, friends and all those who had the privilege of sharing moments with Rui Viana that we have our thoughts, transmitting the necessary strength to face this painful moment.
Desportivo de Chaves and Sp. Braga also mourned the death of Rui Viana, who was assistant coach of the Flavians last season and physical trainer of the training teams of the arsenal players in the 2017/2018 and 2018 seasons / 2019.
