United States Vice President Mike Pence isolated himself after hearing that spokeswoman Katie Miller tested positive for covid-19.
Mike Pence did not attend a meeting of President Donald Trump with military chiefs on Saturday, as he isolated himself only after hearing that spokeswoman Katie Miller had tested positive for covid-19.
The news of the isolation of Mike Pence was advanced this Sunday by the online edition of the centennial Australian newspaper “The Age”, which supports the news with information gathered from three people close to the vice president of the United States.
Pence tested negative for coronavirus on Sunday, one of The Age sources said. Both the Vice President and Trump are examined daily, as the President of the United States recently said, who refuses to stop working or isolate himself prophylactically.
Katie Miller is the second White House employee to test positive, after it emerged during the week that a military adviser close to Trump is also infected with the new coronavirus.
Mike Pence is isolated in a Washington Naval Observatory house, under heavy health surveillance, sources quoted by “The Age” said on condition of anonymity.
Katie Miller is married to Stephen Miller, one of Donald Trump’s closest and most controversial advisers. A radical adviser, whose resignation was already demanded in late 2019, for alleged support for white supremacists.
