A two-year-old boy died this Saturday afternoon at the Valença Health Center. At 1:30 pm, the boy entered that unit. “He was in cardiopulmonary arrest,” a source from the Fire Department told Rádio Vale do Minho.
The place immediately two local Volunteer Firefighters with an ambulance. VMER do Alto Minho was also present.
All attempts to reverse the situation were unsuccessful and the boy died. A team of INEM psychologists was assigned to the site.
Until now the causes of the child’s death are still unknown. The body was transferred to the Viana do Castelo Medical-Legal Clinic.
Meanwhile, Rádio Vale do Minho discovered that both the child and the parents are from the Lisbon district.
