Trump leaves the conference after a (new) disagreement with the journalist

DTrump abruptly interrupted a press conference on Monday after a more spirited exchange of words with an Asian-born journalist.

The journalist in question questioned the President of the United States about his excessive need to repeat that the country had better results than other countries, asking him what is the need for this constant competition when people’s lives are at home, specifically referring to the 80,000 people who have died in the country.

Trump would not have liked it and told the journalist that this was a question that should be asked to the Chinese and he quickly decided to give voice to another question, from another journalist.

Weijia Jiang, who is a correspondent for CBS News was born in China and moved to the United States when she was two years old. Trump’s response did not leave her indifferent, prompting her to ask again: “Why are you telling me specifically?”

Trump defends himself by saying that this was an answer he would give to anyone who asked him ‘malicious’ questions and that it had nothing to do with the person in question.

The exchange of words then extends to the journalist who followed him, to whom the president has refused to respond since he left. Weijia Jiang he kept asking her questions, instead of moving on.

Confusion sets in and Donald Trump decides to end the press conference. The moment once again reflects the poor relationship between the leader of the United States and journalists.
