Travis Scott tweeted about how busy he is making beats for some new songs he “can’t wait to share” with his fans.
Travis Scott has been working hard on some new songs and if we are lucky he will be able to share them with us soon. This Wednesday (April 29), the day before his 28th birthday, Travis visited Twitter to enthuse his fans by listening to a new song of his.
“Man, I’ve been doing beats, this shit is so exciting I can’t wait to share it,” he tweeted. Considering he’ll be in the mood to celebrate Thursday, the rapper may very well decide to release a new single on his birthday. It’s not an uncommon practice, especially in the hip hop world, which is why he crossed his fingers and Travis feels especially generous tomorrow as he approaches his 30s.
Of course, he’s still recovering from the massive success he and Kid Cudi had after they released their new collaboration, “The Scotts,” last Friday. The track was initially shown during Travis’ ASTRONOMIC virtual show in Fortnite, and marked the first release of the newly created duo THE SCOTTS. Travis not only broke Fortnite’s historical record with the most live viewers online at once, but “The Scotts” should dethrone The Weeknd on top of the Billboard Hot 100.
While Travis may be supporting his fans with a few collaborations this year, we haven’t received a full job since Astroworld 2018. His latest project took the form of JACKBOYS, a compilation album between him and his Cactus Jack Records artist collective.
