CP

STCP

The Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos do Porto (STCP) will operate on Saturdays and without service at dawn on New Year’s Day and Metro do Porto will operate until 11 pm, the companies announced today.

In a statement, STCP explains that it has adjusted the schedules of its buses after the renewal of the State of Emergency and the “reduced expected demand” for the next few days, and on Thursday, the last day of the year, the buses of the network. they will operate on Saturday.

On January 1, the early morning service will not be carried out and from 06:00 hours the schedule “Sundays and holidays” will come into effect, with a reduction in offer from 13:00 on some lines.

Porto Metro

Metro do Porto announced today that, on the different lines of the network, the last departures on December 31 take place “around eleven at night”.

“On the last night of the year, Metro do Porto works only until 11 at night, in line with the mobility restrictions in force in the state of emergency,” he says. On Friday, the operation of the Metro will be “identical to that of holidays”, starting at 06:00.

On January 2 and 3, the normal offer will be available, with “all trips in single vehicles”. The operator added that it will resume normal operation on Monday, January 4.
