A source close to the (still) Famalicão forward explained to O GOGO that the postponement was due to “details to reach an agreement between clubs.” But the wedding is only minutes away from being official.

The transfer of the long-awaited transfer did not take place this Thursday, as predicted by all those involved, but Toni Martínez is a very small step away from becoming a FC Porto player.

The postponement of the announcement, according to a source close to the (still) advanced Famalicão consulted by O GOGO, was due to “some details missing in the agreement between the clubs”, without, however, revealing what they were.

With the Asturian, who only waits for a call to appear on the Dragon to sign a contract valid for the next five seasons, everything is covered. In fact, yesterday he completed the battery of medical tests necessary to complete the transfer. For this reason, the dragons believe that all the bureaucratic problems will be overcome quickly and that this Friday Martínez will be presented as the sixth reinforcement for the next season.

Given the agreement between FC Porto and Famalicão, Toni Martínez did not appear at Minho’s training session on Thursday. The 23-year-old Spaniard, who will cost Porto’s coffers a sum of around four million euros (the amount set in the termination clause), said goodbye to the Minho club on Wednesday, saying the events would allow him to start. working with Sérgio Conceição during yesterday afternoon. The delay in settling some details, however, spoiled his plans and, although everything is resolved today, only tomorrow should he integrate the works of the Olival, where the other reinforcements are already: Cláudio Ramos, Carraça, Zaidu, Taremi and Evanilson.
