Three new cases and six recovered

Today Madeira has three new boxes of covid-19.

There are also six new recoveries to be reported, according to the IASAÚDE bulletin, and 17 under study.

All three cases are imported; 2 from Germany and 1 from the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region.

With the six new recovered, the region now has 234 recovered cases of COVID-19. There are 103 active cases, of which 95 are imported cases identified in the context of surveillance activities implemented at the Madeira airport and 8 are cases of local transmission.

Regarding the isolation of positive cases, 51 people are isolated in a dedicated hotel unit and 52 in their own accommodation.

To date, 19,321 people are being monitored by the health authorities of the different counties in the region, using the MadeiraSafe application, 8892 of these people are under active surveillance.

In total, there are 17 new situations that are currently being studied by the health authorities and epidemiological investigations are underway.

The contacts on the SRS24 line (800 24 24 20) total 13,927, plus 46 calls in the last 24 hours.

The total number of visits to the IASAUDE psychological monitoring line, IP-RAM (291 212 399) amounts to 2333, with 192 people accompanied by professionals from this institute.
