There are 95 more cases of Covid-19 in the Algarve, 6602 in the whole country

The Algarve registers 95 more cases of Covid-19, according to the epidemiological bulletin of this Saturday, November 14, just published by the General Directorate of Health (DGS).

With these data, the number of infected in the Algarve, in accumulated terms, amounts to 3,896.

In national terms, this Saturday DGS data registered 6,602 more confirmed cases, of which the vast majority (+4,154) are in the North, as has been the case for several weeks. In this region, there have been 105,839 infections in cumulative numbers so far since the start of the pandemic.

It is followed by Lisbon and the Tagus Valley (plus 1,563 cases, for a total of 76,577), the Center (plus 715, a total of 19,849), the Algarve (plus 95, a total of 3,896), Alentejo ( plus 52, total of 3,907), the Azores (plus 18, total of 579) and Madeira (plus 5, total of 619).

In terms of deaths, there are 55 more to mourn, although it is even less than in previous days. Two of these deaths occurred in Alentejo, where 76 people have already died from Covid-19, 28 in the North and the remaining 17 in the Lisbon region and the Tagus Valley. Algarve, Madeira and Azores did not register deaths.

Regarding the recoveries, from yesterday to today, another 5,135 people managed to defeat Covid-19, adding a total of 122517.

Even so, active cases increased (+1 412), although less than in previous days: the total number of active cases in the country is now 85,444.

Hospital admissions have even decreased in the last 24 hours (minus 1 person hospitalized, for a total of 2,798. The problem is that patients admitted to Intensive Care have suffered a sharp increase from another 25, now 413).

This Saturday there are 91,936 surveillance contacts, 1,511 more than yesterday.
