There are 75 more deaths and 4,336 infected by coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Portugal, according to information advanced by the DGS report this Friday. There are already, in total and since the beginning of the pandemic in our country, 5,977 deaths and 366,952 infected. This Friday the second death of a patient between 10 and 19 years was registered. He is a male victim.

Of the deaths, 31 are in the North Region, 27 in the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region (LVT), 12 in the Center, four in the Alentejo and one in the Azores. Both the Algarve and Madeira have not registered fatalities in the last 24 hours.


Regarding the number of infected, most of them continue to be concentrated in the Northern Region, today being more than 2001. These values ​​are followed by those of LVT, with more than 1,360 infected in 24 hours, 674 in the Center, 195 in Alentejo and 67 in the Algarve.

The same source indicates that an additional 3,662 have recovered from the disease, making a total of 290,690 since the start of the pandemic. Regarding hospitalized patients, this figure fell to 3,061 (registering 81 less today than on Thursday). Of these, 484 were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), minus ten in the last 24 hours. There are currently 77,432 surveillance contacts.
