Of the deaths, 39 were registered in the Lisbon and Vale do Tejo (LVT) Region, 27 in the North, 25 in the Center Region, seven in the Alentejo and four in the Algarve. The highest number of infected people is registered in the Northern Region with more than 3,463, followed by LVT with more than 2,728, the Center with 1,169, Alentejo with 315 and Algarve with 88.
The DGS bulletin this Sunday reveals 3,028 more recovered from the disease, making a total of 369,108 since the pandemic began.
There are 215 more people hospitalized since yesterday, totaling 3,770 hospitalized in the country, of them 558 are hospitalized in Intensive Care Units, 18 more than this Saturday.
There are currently 3,684 people who are referred to as surveillance contacts.
