This morning, a man interrupted the 9:30 am mass, which was being held at the Igreja da Sagrada Família, in Entroncamento and was being broadcast online, through the Facebook of that parish.

The situation occurred 15 minutes after the broadcast, when one of the participants of the celebration sang a psalm. The man went up to the altar and said into the microphone: “You have to get out of Africa. We don’t want Christianity in Africa. We want to build our Africa.”

When the priest who was celebrating Mass came up and started talking to him, the man simply said “shut up.” The broadcast microphone was turned off, but the man continued speaking for a few more minutes. The microphone for surround sound would also be turned off and sacred music would be played. Mass resumed ten minutes later.

The police were called and, according to the daily entroncamentoonline, the man was waiting outside for his arrival. At the time that O MIRANTE published this news, the video with the broadcast of the mass was still available.
