Pensioners with pensions of up to 658.2 euros will see their pension boost this month. This is the extraordinary increase that was decided in the State Budget and that guarantees that all pensioners earn at least 10 euros more than the previous year. The payment was announced this Friday by the Ministry of Social Security, which says it has already been made for those who receive it by bank transfer, and that it is on the way for those who generally receive the pension by money order. On May 19, it will be the turn of the pensioners of the Caixa Geral de Aposentações.
In January, pensioners already received a first update of their pensions, which grew by 0.7% compared to 2019.
