The municipality of Évora registers three active sources of COVID-19

The Évora City Council announced this Thursday that, according to information received from the Local Health Authority, three active outbreaks have been identified in the county.

One of the outbreaks is in the illegal home of Quinta da Sizuda, where no new cases of infection have been reported in the last 28 days since this outbreak. Of the 53 identified, 22 have already recovered, leaving 29 active, one of whom is admitted to the Hospital do Espírito Santo in an infirmary. There were 2 deaths, only 1 attributed to COVID19;

Another of the active outbreaks was registered in the Territorial Command of Évora National Republican Guard, where 10 cases of contagion were identified, 6 of which belonged to the GNR military and 4 to the community. Of the 10 identified, 6 are already recovered, leaving 4 active;

There is also an outbreak in the gym. According to the municipality, the investigation of this outbreak is ongoing. To date, 12 cases of COVID19 infection have been identified.
