The country is moving towards deflation, but there are 19 counties at risk

There are 19 municipalities on the continent above the risk threshold for the incidence of covid-19, which may not advance in deflation, if the situation is maintained in the next government evaluation, within two weeks.

These municipalities exceed 120 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days. Six are even above 240 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

Of the 19 municipalities with the highest incidence of cases, Carregal do Sal, Moura, Odemira, Portimão, Ribeira de Pena and Rio Maior stand out, with more than 240 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, according to data released today.

This group of 19 also includes the municipalities of Alandroal, Albufeira, Beja, Borba, Cinfães, Figueira da Foz, Figueiró dos Vinhos, Lagoa, Marinha Grande, Penela, Soure, Vila do Bispo and Vimioso, which register between 120 and 240 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants.
What to expect in the second phase of deflation?

The driving ban among the 278 municipalities of the continent has already been applied several times in the context of the fight against the covid-19 pandemic.

The measure is currently in force, in this Easter period, from last Friday until 23:59 on Monday.

Reopen terraces and street shops up to 200 square meters

Restaurants, cakes and terrace cafes may reopen on Monday, with groups limited to four people, but the prime minister recommended today that “all precautions” be maintained, including wearing a mask when not eating or drinking.

The terraces can work until 10:30 p.m. during the week and until 1:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

On Monday, April 5, stores with doors to the street of less than 200 square meters no longer have to sell at the gate and can now have their doors open to the public, therefore, in accordance with the rotation and the regulations of the General Directorate of Health, in order to provide face-to-face assistance.

With the opening of these stores, hypermarkets will be able to sell all products without restrictions, since there will be no more unfair competition problems.

Museums, monuments, palaces and art galleries reopen

From Monday you can visit museums, monuments, palaces and archaeological or related sites, national, autonomous and municipal, public or private, as well as art galleries and exhibition halls.

This team closes at 10:30 p.m. on weekdays and at 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Gyms reopen with limitations

In this second phase of indefiniteness, the gyms will also reopen, but still without authorization for group classes.

Group physical activity outdoors is allowed, but with a limit of four people per group.

The practice of sports modalities considered low risk also returns.

The public at sporting events is still prohibited.

Reopening of day centers and equipment for the disabled

The day centers and social facilities in the disability area will reopen next Monday, in compliance with the plan for the second phase of the deconfinement plan.

Authorized lift markets and fairs

The operation of fairs and markets is authorized, as well as fairs and markets for food products, with the authorization of the mayor of the municipality with territorial authority, in accordance with the established norms.

The land border with Spain remains closed

The President of the Government has confirmed that the land border with Spain will remain closed, by mutual agreement, with the exceptions so far provided in force.
