It all grew out of a recent conversation between Sporting president Frederico Varandas and Cristiano Ronaldo, an idea in kind of an invitation that the player immediately accepted. What remains today the main reference of the famous sportinguista training school will thus be immortalized, in a tribute that Sporting also pays its partner 100,000.
The fact that CR7 gives its name to the Academy has nothing to do with the to name of the same, which was once transferred to a sports brand in exchange for financial compensation. It is just a tribute to a player who remains one of the best in the world, to be adored by all the young people who aspire to a first-rate career in professional football.
This tribute does not have, as previously written, an economic counterpart, but the same cannot be said in terms of brand, since the gain with this measure is immeasurable.
