SC Braga confirmed the transfer of Paulinho to Sporting, in exchange for 16 million euros for 70 percent of the pass, plus the signing of Borja and Sporar, this loan.

«SC Braga comes to report all the contours of the deal that led to the definitive transfer of the player Paulinho to Sporting CP for 16 million euros (70% of the pass), and vice versa, the hiring of Borja and Sporar.
SC Braga – Futebol, SAD, reached an agreement with Sporting CP SAD for the definitive transfer of the sports rights and 70% of the patrimonial rights of the player João Paulo Dias Fernandes (PAULINHO) for the amount of € 16,000,000.00 , plus VAT. The solidarity mechanism related to the transfer is added to the referred amount and is the sole and exclusive responsibility of Sporting CP SAD.
It should be added that, after a proposal for a future transfer of € 25,000,000.00 or more for the purchase of the player in question, if Sporting CP SAD chooses not to accept it, it must pay SC Braga – Futebol, SAD the percentage of remaining equity rights. (30%, which represents at least the additional amount of € 7,500,000.00).
In addition to the aforementioned amount, Sporting CP SAD lends Andraz SPORAR on loan to SC Braga – Futebol SAD until the end of the 2020/21 season, fully supporting the salary charges with the player. SC Braga – Futebol SAD also has the option to purchase € 7,500,000.00, and if it does not exercise this option, it guarantees a minimum shop window right of 10%, which can reach 15% depending on the value of a future transfer in the window of the next market.
It also agreed to the definitive transfer of the player Cristián BORJA to SC Braga – Futebol, SAD, including the acquisition of all his rights (sports and economic), for the amount of € 3,000,000.00, plus VAT and a solidarity mechanism. This contract was only possible because Sporting CP SAD agreed to support the player’s salary difference between his previous contract and the contract he signed with SC Braga – Futebol SAD. It should be noted that the Colombian international signed a contract valid for 4 and a half years.
