Benfica’s coach, Jorge Jesus, announced Wednesday’s Super Cup match with FC Porto:

What is missing here? The people, the fans, football without fans is not the same. The great teams in the world do not play at the same level because they do not have fans in the stands. The feeling is the same for players and coaches. With fans, there is more pleasure, more motivation and more faith. I would like the game to be complete, half red and half blue, that’s why we promote football. We don’t know how to promote our football well. What we managed to do internationally, in front of opponents with much higher budgets… Come and fight them. It is a job that we do not value.
