Facundo Ferreyra returned to Benfica in the summer, after a year and a half with Espanyol, but little has been an option. Even so, the Argentine forward assures that he is learning a lot from Jorge Jesús.

“Even though I’m not playing, I try to learn because I always try to get something out of the coaches who understand football, who want the players to progress and we have to learn. I had a lot of coaches and some of whom I don’t remember the name (laughs). There are others who, although they don’t play me like they do now [Jorge Jesus], that you have to listen because they teach you. He will serve both at Benfica and tomorrow, ”said the 29-year-old forward, in a conversation on Lucas Carvalho’s podcast.

Ferreyra also admitted that he is not going through a good stage, but he was confident that he could turn the situation around. At Benfica or anywhere else. «The first objective is to be strong. Now I am not going through a good football stage, but I have already reversed difficult situations and I hope to be able to show my value at Benfica or wherever I can and have a season like I did at Shakhtar. Forwards live on goals. We can change the history of a game in one play. We have to prepare for those moments. I hope that in 2021 I can change everything and return to the level where I have already been ”, he concluded.
