V. Guimarães confirmed, this Friday, the immediate departure of Carlos Freitas from the club. The general director of football ended his contract at the end of the season and would leave Guimarães for health reasons. The departure ended early, with the termination agreed on Friday.

Carlos Freitas, 54, has been with Guimarães since 2019 and joined the club with Miguel Pinto Lisboa, president of Guimarães. Carlos Freitas has worked for Sporting, Panathinaikos, Metz and Fiorentina.
