The 2020/21 season for Manchester United started off the worst, with a 1-3 loss to Crystal Palace at a taciturn Old Trafford. Starting alongside Paul Pogba in midfield, Bruno Fernandes, the most influential member of the Red Devils and voted Manchester United’s best player last season, couldn’t turn things around.
In assessing the performance of the Portuguese international, the Manchester Evening News highlighted the physical difficulties of the former Sporting captain.
