The Alverca player who suffered cardiorespiratory arrest is hospitalized

According to the latest clinical update provided to JN by a club source, on Sunday night the Alverca midfielder was “stable, sedated and at rest” at the Vila Franca Hospital in Xira.

JN was also informed that the players, coaches and staff of both teams were seen, on the field of play, crying, kneeling and praying, in an image that revealed the panic that the whole situation caused in those present.

“The resuscitation maneuvers continued in the vehicle that took him to the hospital,” said Commander Alberto Fernandes. “From the fall to the departure of the player to the hospital, 25 minutes will have passed. The doctors wanted to get him out of the situation,” a source from Alverca told us, grateful for the help of opponents, doctors and firefighters.
