The Government will launch a “strong inspection action” of the teleworking regime in companies located in the three highest risk areas of mainland Portugal, António Costa announced today.

“The Minister of Labor has already determined this strong provincial action that is needed, particularly now, next week,” said the prime minister this Saturday after the council of ministers.

“If we look at the data that Google is publishing on travel, we realize that there are many more people traveling than those who should travel if there was teleworking, if they were respected, that means we have to do it. To promote and above all it is necessary that companies and people practice it effectively for the good of their health, the health of others, health professionals and our SNS ”, said the government official.

The teleworking regime is mandatory in companies, whenever possible, in municipalities with more than 240 new cases in the last 14 days, in a total of 213 municipalities currently, in municipalities marked in yellow, orange and red in the Map.
