“The Voice Portugal” is back on RTP1. The new season of the talent show opened this Sunday, September 27 and, as usual, started with the “Blind Trials” phase.
Catarina Furtado and Vasco Palmeirim lead the talent show, which has as mentors Aurea, Diogo Piçarra, Marisa Liz and António Zambujo. Conguito is the new digital reporter, succeeding Mafalda Castro.
As usual, the program begins with the “Blind Testing” phase. According to RTP1, “over six weeks we will see a heated dispute between the four mentors for the best candidates and for the voice of Portugal.” The channel also guarantees that, this year, it “promises to be exceptionally competitive”: “Mentors will have the opportunity to block other mentors twice during all ‘Blind Tests’. This block can occur at any time during the candidate’s performance. That is, the mentor may not have turned the chair yet or is already face-to-face with the candidate and decides to block another of the fellow mentors. “
