Sporting returned to train at the Academy: six launches, four schedules and GPS vests

Players train individually and are divided into different schedules and pitches.

Sporting returned to training on Monday at the Alcochete Academy, but with a series of measures and in order to respect the instructions of the health authorities in the face of the covid-19 pandemic.

The players were divided into four different schedules: the first group works from 10 a.m. at 10:40 a.m., the second between 11:10 a.m. and 11:50 a.m. and then between 12:10 p.m. and 12:50 p.m. The morning ends with the hours of 12:20 to 13:00 and, in each group, the footballers train individually, spread over six lawns of the Academy and without even seeing each other.

With Leonine, the athletes are just a physical trainer and a member of the clinical department, who take turns on all six fields and stay within 10 meters of the players.

For a better measurement of the physical indices at this stage, when the footballers exchange their balconies and gardens for green rugs from Alcochete, Sporting asked that they not forget to wear the vests with integrated GPS, an object that helps the Performance Unit to a better optimization of the training of each athlete and that, in this specific context, will be disinfected by a responsible person, after each session is completed. Before work begins, vests will be scanned and reprogrammed if necessary; again, the security measures are very high.
