A gang rape by a 14-year-old girl shocks Spain. Ten young people, between 15 and 25 years old, have already been arrested, according to the Spanish agency EFE. The case occurred last week in Xàtiva, in the Valencian Community, during an illegal party that brought together a hundred boys and girls.
The victim filed a complaint and told the police that she was raped by several young men and that others observed without preventing the sexual assault. According to the Spanish press, the minor was approached by a group of about 20 people and suffered several probes and some of them forced her to perform various sexual acts. Some of the suspects denied the accusations, claiming that it was a consensual sexual relationship, which, even if it was, does not excuse them, since the girl is a minor.
The girl, who may have been drugged at the party before being raped, received hospital treatment and is being monitored on a psychological level.
Despite these arrests, the Civil Guard does not rule out the possibility of arresting more suspects, since the investigation is not closed.
