Six new cases of Covid-19 in Madeira – dnoticias.pt

This Monday’s newsletter from the Institute of Health Administration (IASaúde) mentions six new positive cases of Covid-19 and one recovered patient, raising the number of active cases to 60. There are still two registered cases under study.

Madeira has registered, since the start of the pandemic, a total of 218 active cases, of which 158 are considered cured. To date, no deaths have been recorded.

The new cases are from Poland (4) and France (2) and were detected in the operation established at the airports of the Region.

There are currently 60 active cases, of which 50 are imported cases and 10 are locally transmitted cases.

Of the positive cases, 28 people are isolated in a hotel unit, 31 in their own accommodation and 1 patient is admitted to the Multipurpose Unit of the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.

IASaúde has 14,745 people who must be accompanied by the health authorities of the different municipalities, using the MadeiraSafe application, 7030 are under active surveillance.

In the traveler inspection operation in the ports and airports of Madeira and Porto Santo, there are a total of 68,004 test crops that must be reported to COVID-19.
