Singer Sara Carreira, 21, daughter of popular musician Tony Carreira, died this Saturday after a car accident on the A1, near Santarém, reported the Newspaper. GNR and INEM confirmed the accident to the PUBLIC but did not provide further information on the identity of the victims.
In addition to the fatality, the collision between four light vehicles that occurred at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday caused three injuries, one seriously, who were transferred to the Santarém Hospital.
The A1 was cut off to north / south traffic, between the Santarém and Cartaxo nodes, for several hours, with dozens of operatives and vehicles from various fire brigades participating in the rescue and debris removal operations.
