Rosa Grilo’s father was accused in the process of the death of triathlete Luís Grilo. Américo Pina was prosecuted for three crimes. for crimes of simulated crime, personal favor and possession of a prohibited weapon.
The supposed staging
In February 2020, on the eve of the reading of the sentence, a news appeared in the case. Rosa Grilo’s defense contacted the authorities to reveal the alleged appearance of a bullet in the bathtub of the house where Luís Grilo was murdered, in Vila Franca de Xira. The bullet was never detected during the authorities’ investigation.
The Judicial Police believe, however, that it is an alleged staging between Rosa Grilo’s lawyer, Tânia Reis, the former PJ inspector, João de Sousa, and Rosa Grilo’s father, who will have given them the House key.
The three defendants are charged with simulated crime, personal favor and possession of a prohibited weapon, having been subjected to the slightest coercive measure: identity and residence term.
