A 40-year-old black man was beaten and killed by two security guards at the Carrefour supermarket in the Brazilian city of Porto Alegre late Thursday, it was announced this Friday.
The crime is generating great indignation in the country because it occurred on the eve of November 20, when the Black Awareness Day in Brazil.

The crime is being investigated by the Porto Alegre Office of Homicide and Personnel Protection.
