Former Portuguese international footballer Ângelo Martins, two-time European champion with Benfica, died this Sunday at the age of 90, Benfica reported on its official website.

Ângelo Martins is considered one of the “symbols” in the history of Benfica, a club he represented between 1952 and 1965 and for which he won two European Cups, used in the 1961 finals with FC Barcelona (3-2). and from 1962 with Real Madrid. (5-3).
