The entity that manages the ATM network has already admitted the problem, but there are still some who are desperate for the amounts they have not received. The newspaper knows that this situation will have affected several companies, which during this period saw thousands of euros disappear from their bank accounts.

There is also information from the merchants that the money has not yet been returned.

SIBS said that the occurrence after having proceeded "on October 28 and 29, to a programmed technical intervention, which, despite having followed all the routines and processes in order not to impact the ATM network, caused a unexpected embarrassment in the accounting closings of ATMs (automatic payment terminal) in some businesses ”.

On the other hand, SIBS guarantees that "the settlement of the amounts in question was carried out, in the vast majority of cases, in the following days." Furthermore, it is important to point out that SIBS does not carry out any type of movement of the bank accounts of network users.
