This Thursday, Fernando Santos announced the list of players called up for the duels with Spain (October 7), France (11) and Sweden (14), the last two for the Nations League.
Rafa Silva (Benfica), Daniel Podence (Wolverhampton), Rúben Semedo (Olympiakos), William Carvalho (Betis) are the novelties among the 26 national coaches chosen, against the call for the September duels against the counterparts of Croatia and Sweden .
Domingos Duarte, André Gomes and Gonçalo Guedes left the call.
Wolverhampton, with five players, is the most represented team on the list, followed by Manchester City and FC Porto, with three elements each. On the list, only four of the 26 currently chosen in the Portuguese championship: Pepe, Danilo Pereira, Sérgio Oliveira and Rafa.
