The data published this Monday, in the daily epidemiological bulletin of the General Directorate of Health (DGS), reveals that there are 222 Portuguese municipalities with at least three confirmed cases of Covid-19.

The data published by DGS does not present any new location with confirmed cases of infection. At least 45 municipalities have seen an increase in the number of people infected in the last 24 hours.

Amadora is the municipality with the highest increase in new confirmed cases, registering 17 infections that add up to a total of 448 confirmed cases in the town. Sintra, Felgueiras and Lousada continue with seven new cases each.

Lisbon continues to occupy the top of the table with a total of 1,737 (+2) infected with the new coronavirus, followed by Vila Nova de Gaia with 1,455 (+2), Porto with 1,303 (+3) and Matosinhos with 1,207 (+ 3 )

Of the 222 municipalities with at least three confirmed cases of Covid-19, 177 did not register an increase in the number of infected people, compared to the previous day.

Knowing that the accounting will not be relative to the total number of cases, nor will it simultaneously monitor the data reported by the municipalities, DGS decided to provide only data from SINAVE, the national epidemiological surveillance system.

This Monday, Portugal registers 1,144 deaths (plus nine deaths in 24 hours) and 27,679 positive cases (plus 98) caused by the new coronavirus, according to the daily bulletin of the General Directorate of Health.

The report maintains the number of patients who are already recovering from the disease (2,549) compared to Sunday.

In relation to hospitalized patients, there are 805 hospitalized patients (eight more), of whom 112 are in intensive care (remains on Sunday).

Of the recorded deaths, 769 were over 80 years old, 228 were between 70 and 79 years old, 99 were between 60 and 69 years old, 36 were between 50 and 59 years old, 11 were between 40 and 49 years old and one patient was between 20 and 29 years.
