The case presents a stable clinical situation and the procedures defined for the confirmed case, the tests and surveillance of the close contacts have already been attended by the Municipal Health Office.
It is worth mentioning the recovery, on the island of São Miguel, of a 49-year-old man, bringing the number of recovered cases of Covid-19 in the Region to 166.
Thus, to date, 257 cases of infection by the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which causes the Covid-19 disease, have been detected in the Region, and there are currently 46 active positive cases, of which 35 on the island of São Miguel, eight on Terceira Island, two on Pico Island and one on Graciosa Island.
