The Social Democratic Youth (JSD) expressed its “indignation” and “incomprehension” this Friday at the withdrawal of a poster placed this morning by this party structure against the celebration of the 44th Avante! Party in Seixal.
Speaking to Lusa, the newly elected president of JSD, Alexandre Poço, confessed that he did not understand the reasons for the withdrawal of the cartel and said that the party’s structure would advance with formal complaints to the CNE (National Electoral Commission) and the PSP (Police of Security). Public).
“We question what sense of democracy those who removed this poster have,” said the Social Democratic leader, concluding that “there are those in Portugal who have a relatively reduced sense of democracy.”
By criticizing the “notion of democracy of those who took this action”, Alexandre Poço guaranteed that the complaints referred to are already being formalized. This morning the Social Democratic Youth (JSD) inaugurated a poster in the vicinity of the 44th Festa do Avante, against the holding of the event that this year is involved in controversy due to the pandemic context caused by the covid-19.
The poster in question says “So only the covid will take Avante”, referring to the communist political-cultural festival.
