Portugal registers 12 more deaths and 1,394 confirmed cases of Covid-19

POrtugal registered, in the last 24 hours, another 12 deaths and 1,394 infected for the new coronavirus. According to the epidemiological bulletin released this Friday, by the DirectionGeneral Health (DGS), have been accounted for since the beginning of pandemic, 2,062 Deceased and 83,928 confirmed cases of COVID-19-19.

Compared to yesterday An increase in daily cases of 1.69% and deaths of 0.59% is confirmed. This is the second consecutive day this month that Portugal exceeds a thousand daily cases of infected. Regarding the number of recovered, another 647 were discharged in one day, raising the total number of people cured from COVID-19-19 in Portugal to 52,164.

The North follows, with 30,800 infections (689 more) and 908 deaths (three more). The Central region has 6,758 confirmed cases (96 more) and 272 deaths (one more). Alentejo remains the least devastated area of ​​mainland Portugal due to pandemic, recording 1,615 infected (plus 11) and 25 Deceased (no deaths to register). The Algarve already has 1,923 infections (more than 31) and 20 deaths (without reports of deaths).

In the autonomous regions, Azores has reported, to date, 294 confirmed cases (plus three) and 15 Deceased (no deaths to register). Madeira already registered 272 infected (five more) and, to date, no deaths from the new virus have been reported since the beginning of the pandemic.
