One of the victims of the accident that occurred last Saturday in Vade S. Tomé, in Ponte da Barca, could not resist his injuries and ended up losing his life this Tuesday at the Braga Hospital, as O MINHO has learned from a hospital source.
Miguel Nunes, a resident of the municipality, was 25 years old and could not resist the serious injuries caused by a skid followed by a violent collision with a wall, in front of the National Highway 101.
Through social networks the tributes of family, friends and acquaintances multiply, who are in shock with this outcome, given the young age of the victim.
There is no date for the funeral ceremonies yet.
An ambulance and a vehicle were mobilized to the scene of the accident for the release of local firefighters and the INEM media through the SIV ambulance in Arcos de Valdevez and the VMER medical team in Viana do Castelo.
The accident caused another serious injury, which was still in the same vehicle, and was transported by firefighters to the Hospital de Santa Luzia, in Viana do Castelo.
